On our second day we drove northwest from San Jose to Arenal region to stay at the Thermal Hot Springs resort of Tabacon. The springs are naturally occurring from the Arenal Volcano. In the Tabacon resort there are over 20 different pools. It was so beautiful. It felt like we were in the middle of the jungle and in another world. We stayed at the resort for two nights, but I could have stayed a lot longer.
