The Olivine Pools on Maui

So we love finding lesser known, unusual spots when we go to Hawaii. We were very excited to discover the Olivine pools on the north part of Maui. Such a gorgeous spot that reminded us of the Queen's Bath on Kauai.

This is Robert diving into the deepest pool. I was not so brave.

Me getting ready to slide in---instead of jumping!

So incredibly beautiful!

This is what they look like from above. We had to hike down to the pools.

Aww.

We were joined by some training search and rescue lifeguards. Can't say I didn't feel rather safe with them around!

We attended the temple in Laie, Hawaii. What a beautiful experience. We have never been to a large temple together so, it was really a neat experience for us. The furnishings were beautiful and the people so friendly. Afterwords we went to the visitor's center which was also a great experience.

While we were in Hawaii I was determind to get a good pregnant on the beach shot. This is my favorite. This is on Turtle Beach on the North Shore of Oahu. I am 26 weeks along.

Take Me Home

Had to post this picture. I love it. Booby is playing with the old school Fisher Price houseboat I played with as a child. Love this picture too. I took it on my iphone with the Hipsomatic app.

Fall Fun at the Farm

This year we started a new family tradition. We went to the reindeer farm! We have been so sad and missed our Huber's in Kentucky that we were so excited to find that the Reindeer Farm was doing some Fall activities this year. We bundled up so that we could enjoy the 24 degree weather!

All set to go on a hayride to the hay maze. No, our hayride was not pulled by a reindeer!

Daddy and Bobby in the hay maze. I absolutely love the view of Pioneer Peak behind them.

The kiddos on top of a hayroll.

Bobby on his first pony ride.

My little ham.

In the pumpkin patch. OK the pumpkin patch was actually just a bunch of pumkins purchased from out of state, but hey we are in Alaska what do you expect?!

Winnie loved this day!

Us in front of Pioneer Peak. What a fun day!

Happy 7th Birthday Winnie!

How We Celebrated: A trip to the mall to get her ears pierced! Hannah got hers done at the same time. We also went to Build-A-Bear and got a pink Bunny and then ate at the food court. We came home and had a pumpkin fudge "birthday cake".

Mom's Thoughts on Winnie:
Winnie is a beautiful, friendly, smart and imaginative girl. I love having her as a part of our family. Our home would be too quiet without her imaginative conversations. She has a sweet, growing testimony of the Gospel and is our cherished daughter.
