Curly Cupcakes

This curly cue kid and I stopped last week to grab some delicious cupcakes from the cupcake lady.
Jack nearly inhaled this banana split cup cake!

Preschool Finale

Last week was the last day of preschool.
We went to a park and enjoyed the day.
Bobby got the award for most enthusiastic.
He certainly was!

E,F,Gs

Jack kept trying to tell me something the other day. He kept asking for EFGs. It took me a minute to realize that he wanted to play with theses magnetic letters. So cute!

Thirty Years in Alaska

In 1984 my family drove up the ALCAN to return to Alaska. I was born here, but we moved when I was a month old. My parents spend the next 8 years trying to get back. When I was 8 years old we returned and have been here ever since. 1984 through 1989 were spent at Eielson AFB in Fairbanks and then we moved to Anchorage. I have been out of state for schooling, but for the majority of the last 30 years Alaska has been my home.

The other day we stopped for lunch at the Arctic Road Runner. I have never been. It is a landmark and I have never been there....in 30 years.

It made me think of all the Alaskana things I haven't done yet. I am making a list. I am trying to do some of these things this summer. Is has been tricky because I have done and awful lot. I will post a list soon!

Hannah at Thirteen

Hannah is so good!
Here are some things about her that seem to define her at this age.
She is quiet, but not shy.
she is a book worm.
She has a great big heart.
She is helpful and concerned about others feelings.
She is a talented musician.
She doesn't like to be the center of attention.
She is artistic and messy.
She doesn't know how beautiful she is.

She is comfortable.
She likes to be behind the scenes.
She has a very cute sense of style.
She still loves pink!
She goes with the flow.
She is affectionate and loves to give long hugs.
She is smart.
She is friendly and has a close circle of friends.
She is a wonderful daughter!

Hannah Turns 13!

Hannah is a teenager! She turned 13 April 21st. She is my first one and I think Heavenly Father wanted to break me in easily. She is so good! On her birthday we went to Red Robin  for dinner and had red velvet cake with a cream cheese frosting. She made us swear that we would not have them sing to her. She is so embarrassed by things like that. Her friend Rachel decorated her locker at school and they sang to her at lunch and in English class! She asked for art supplies for her birthday and so we got her a bunch of paints, an easel and some canvases. She was so happy.

Easter 2014

Idaho

We made a quick trip to Idaho to see Jonathon, Lauren, Loralei and Christian sealed in the Rexberg Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was a wonderful experience and I am so happy we could be with them on this very special day. This is one fantastic family!

We also go to spend time with Mark, Jamie and family. It was awesome! We went out to eat, went shopping and even went up to Jackson hole one day.
