We're Growing

So when we moved back home to Alaska we found our beautiful home. It was meant to be ours. We knew it the minute we saw it. We had been looking for 6 weeks with much frustration. We both had things we wanted and couldn't live without. We finally decided one of the things we had to sacrifice to find a home in our price range was a fourth bedroom. When we walked into our house we knew it was ours. It was the same feeling we had with "Our Old Kentucky Home" (it was built in the 1940's). This new Alaska home was perfectly sized for our little family of 4. We could give up that fourth bedroom--which would basically serve as a craft/guest room.

Since then we were blessed with two beautiful boys and we need more space for our family. After a lot of praying we decided--we love our home! We are not really to move, so we need to get bigger. We are putting an addition on. We are adding that fourth bedroom down-stairs and a crafting room--mom cave-- for me up-stairs. I am so excited!

I will definitely post more pictures as the work progresses, but for now we have a large 14x22 hole on the side of our house. Robert and Bobby have spent many hours in Papa's excavator digging. Something they both love to do.
