A Trip to the Zoo With Maggie
My brother, Mitch, and his daughter, Maggie are in town from Arizona. I found this to be a perfect opportunity to visit the Alaska Zoo. (Something we have been meaning to do since we moved here 3 years ago). It is a lovely little zoo in it's own right. Just don't be expecting a zoo from the Lower 48. All three children were horrified to learn there were no elephants or giraffes!
