On October 15th Robert and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary by heading to Chena Hot Springs. This is a 'resort" near Fairbanks famous for there naturally occurring hot springs. Robert planned the whole trip as a surprise getaway. We drove up on a Friday mornin and at dinner in Fairbanks at a restaurant called "The Cookie Jar". It was featured on the Food Network show. Diners, Dives and Drive-ins!
We spent Friday Night and Saturday night at the hot springs. It was already winter in Fairbanks so there was 4 inches of snow on the ground and It was well below freezing.
We spent a lot of time in our hotel room and in the hot spring.
At the hot springs they have an ice museum made completely out of ice. It was pretty darn spectacular.
