In June I went to the Alaska State wide girls camp. It was the first state wide girls camp ever in history. Every day we did many fun things.
On Monday my ward met at my church building and took pictures. Then we went to the fair grounds and checked in. We got little wrist bands to wear. Then we went to our camp site and started to unpack stuff. After that we had a scavenger hunt with temples and an opening ceremony. Then we just hung around for the rest of the day.
On Tuesday we had a morning devotional and then went on a nine mile hike in the pouring rain. It was fun, but all my stuff got wet. When we came back we had creation station--were we could make stuff. The we had dinner and then had a devotional with brother Clayton. Then we played tons of games. That day was fun.
The rest of the week was also fun, jammed packed with activities like these. My favorite day was Wednesday when we had our service project. My ward went to the veteran's home and I planted flowers and weeded gardens.
All in all girls camp was amazing and I hope to do it again.
