115

So what do you do when it is 115 degrees outside?

Graduation Trip

This is my beautiful niece, Rebekah. I promised her that I would fly down to her her high school graduation in Phoenix Arizona. When I told Robert that I wanted to go he wanted to go too. So, we made a family vacation out of it. FYI this trip was planned way before our previous Hawaii trip. Two family vacations less than 3weeks apart is too much for me!

Hannah, Winnie, Jack and I flew down on a Tuesday May 29th. Robert had to work in Valdez at that time so, he and Bobby (thanks again Mom and dad) flew down on June 2nd. We had a really great vacation in spite of some sicknesses. It was great to spend time with my brother and his family.

My next several posts will be about this trip full of memories.

Starlit Hui

On the last night of our stay in Hawaii we attended a Starlit Hui. It was such a beautiful evening and the perfect way to close out our trip. We went ahead of time and they had crafts set up. The girls made flower bracelets and hair pieces. Hannah made a grass star. Then we all sat out on the lawn on grass mats and watched a dance production. It was fun and very well put together. Of course all the characters came out at the end and we all stood up and did fun dances like the Electric slide.

I will always cherish my memories of this trip---far from perfect, but I am grateful to have been able to take my girls to this place that they will always remember.
